| We hope you’ve been well! We’re already in March, which is turning out to be one of the busiest months for the team here. KME Spring 2026 and KDT (Kairos Deployment Training) began at the start of this month and are in full swing. We have two ministry teams from America that we will be hosting throughout this month into the next. Also, two of the biggest religious holidays were observed and celebrated this past week: Nyepi (Balinese H_ndu Day of Silence) and Idul Fitri, which marks the end of Ramadan. Please continue reading for our updates from January to March and an important announcement regarding a change of leadership for the KG Bali team. |

| | Quick Family Update We will be visiting the States from June 6 to July 16 and will be splitting our time between California and NY/NJ. We’re excited to catch up face-to-face with loved ones and meet new members of our family (Howard’s older brother and my older brother both had baby boys that we hadn’t met in person yet)! We are all doing well physically, emotionally, and spiritually, all thanks to the grace of God. We have had a few low points, as everyone does from time to time, but we are thankful for the godly community we have here and back home who are surrounding us in prayer. |

| | | Important KG Bali Team Update Earlier last year, our current team leaders, Trevor and Leah, spent time fasting and praying to discern the Lord’s voice to transition to Japan to pioneer a new KG base in Tokyo. Their decision to transition was confirmed, and they will be making their move in June of this year. They have already found ministry partners in Japan who are helping with the process of obtaining visas. So, what does this transition mean for the Bali Team? Starting in April, Howard and I will officially begin our role as the new team leaders for Bali. We are also initiating a new leadership structure so that under the location leaders, there is a leadership team that will help delegate the responsibilities of the team. Our role now, on top of existing roles of leading KME schools and being part of the KG Senior Leadership Team, will be taking on pastoral care, ongoing staff development, and scheduling for the Bali Team. While we, and the entire team, are saddened by the transition of our current leaders, it is an exciting thing that the Lord is doing. Japan is definitely an unreached nation that needs the Gospel, and the Lord has placed Japan in Trevor and Leah’s hearts. They have served in Bali faithfully for seven years, and we are so grateful for their obedience and faithfulness to give their “yes” once again. So, we also say “yes” to this new season of navigating leadership in humility, fear of the Lord, and wisdom. Please pray for them as they pack up their lives again to move to a new nation with their two children. Please also pray for us as we grow in this area of learning to be more like Jesus and rely on Him and Him alone. |

| Regular Team Update We went on our annual team retreat in January and spent time discussing vision, mapping out our year, and reflecting on areas we can grow in as a team. We are truly growing in our collective love for the Lord and love for one another as we serve this land together. It’s a blessing and an honor to do what we do, not all on our own, but with brothers and sisters who have also signed up and choose to sign up every day. We hosted our KG Pastoral Care leader, Eunice, who visited us from the States for a few days in February. She spent time with everyone on the team, checking up on us spiritually and emotionally. Howard and I were personally blessed that she walked us through inner healing and led us in prayer to find healing that we didn’t realize we needed in certain areas of our lives. This helped us to realign ourselves to the Lord in the truth of who He is and who we are in Him. |

| | | KME Update KME (Kairos Missions Experience) Spring 2026 has begun, and what a privilege it is to serve the two students we have: B: She has been a m-worker in Bali for almost nine years—longer than KG has even been here! She has had a heart for the unreached since she was 13 years old. In many ways, she could be teaching us, but instead, she is so hungry to be in a season of learning and growing deeper in her love for the Lord. Her humility and hunger are contagious, and it is a joy to experience this season alongside her. F: F is a testament to God answering our prayers for Indonesians to be transformed and carry the Gospel to their nation. Two years ago, a short-term team and one of our staff went to the beach to share the Gospel, and F was one of the people who heard it that day. For two years, the same staff visited him almost every week at the beach since F was a surfing instructor. Through that consistent time together, F eventually joined a Bible study and decided to live his life for Jesus. F, who used to struggle with substance use and a "people-pleasing" nature that made it hard to say no, is now learning about the Great Commission and joining us to share Jesus with others at the beach! He is a living testimony to the power of the Gospel. We love his childlike faith and his simple devotion and hunger for Jesus. |

| | | The Bridge Update The Bridge has been growing, not only in numbers but also in friendship with one another. Every week, we see our regulars alongside new students who are jumping at the chance to practice their English. It has been amazing to witness The Bridge become a place where strangers truly become friends. Asta (H_ndu): Asta is a post-college professional who joins us whenever he can get off work. He shared how, during the Christmas break, he was feeling lonely and purposeless. Through a family member, he found his way to The Bridge. The day he arrived, we happened to break into small groups to share what we did for Christmas and the meaning behind it. Asta heard the Gospel for the first time that day, and we were able to pray for him. He shared that he felt a great sense of peace. We are praying for more opportunities to share with him, to start a Bible study, and for Asta to give his life to Jesus as his Lord and Savior. Fiya (M_slim): If you have been following our newsletter, you might remember Fiya. Before joining The Bridge, she was a shy, timid person struggling with fear. She recently shared that since coming to The Bridge, she has become confident and her life has changed. She knows we are explicitly Christian, yet she continues to engage deeply. She has one more year before she graduates, so we are being prayerfully intentional with our time. Please join us in praying that Fiya will come to know Jesus. |

| | | Friday Night Hangouts at our Home This is something Howard and I decided to initiate specifically for college students who come out to The Bridge. We recently learned that some of these students have a weekly meal budget of only 100,000 IDR, which is a little over $5! While things are generally inexpensive here, surviving on $5 a week is still a major struggle. Most of these college students live away from home on different parts of Indonesia and struggle with loneliness. Many cannot even go back home during the holidays due to their tight budgets. Convicted by the idea of spending more time with these students and letting them into our lives, we began opening our house every other Friday. We spend time playing games, enjoying fellowship, having deep discussions, and making sure their bellies are fed and full. Sometimes we even set up the keyboard and other instruments to jam out. Thankfully, we have thick walls, but our neighbors also love our family and are very supportive of what we are doing, especially since we are helping local college students. We are creating a safe space for them to experience togetherness and a sense of home away from home. |

| | | Umah Puan While the attendance has gone down a bit due to sickness and flooding, the conversations have been getting much deeper and more vulnerable. The women are sharing so openly that it’s been creating a bond of trust amongst the ladies in attendance. There are tears at almost every meeting, and lots of laughter. We are specifically praying for Adjrina, whom we have known for a while through English Corner, as she has been opening up a lot more lately. Even though she’s a M_slim, she is always receptive when we pray for her in Jesus’ name. We have switched our meeting schedule from every other Monday to every Monday. For the last Monday of the month, we are hosting a Bible study for those who are interested. So far, only Christian women have been coming out, but we pray that more will join. |
|
| | | Seed Day For one of the team-wide outreach days, we went to a soup kitchen that prepares food for various non-profit organizations such as orphanages and food banks. We get to cook and pack food while mingling with all sorts of people who come to volunteer. |
|
| | Here are some more photos from different Seed Days where we met strangers going about their day and prayed for them or shared the Gospel with them! |
|
| | | | | | We called out some of the college students to intentionally spend time with them and shared our testimonies. |
